Our speaker roster is full for the March 4 event.If you have an idea for a talk and you want to be considered for the next Ignite (in 2-3 months), please email . Provide as much detail as you can. Send links to your stuff, if possible. Presentation GuidelinesAn Ignite presentation consists of exactly 20 slides. Each slide is displayed for exactly 15 seconds, giving you exactly 5 minutes to give your talk. Don't worry about setting up the timing of your deck. We'll take care of that when you send it to us. You can submit your deck as either a PowerPoint or Keynote file. We must receive your deck no later than 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 28. No builds, animations, or slide transitionsDon't use any builds, animations or transitions in your slides. If you do, these effects will be discarded and your slides may not display like you wanted them to. FontsMake sure your deck only uses fonts that are commonly available on all computers. If you're unsure about which font(s) to use, here's a very safe list.
If you need to use other fonts, we recommend that you make each of your slides one big JPEG image instead. Then you can totally control the precise look of each slide. ResolutionPlease make your presentation 10" x 7.5." This is the default size for PowerPoint and Keynote. Send us your presentation file by 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 28.This is important. Once your presentation is complete, please email it to ignite@ignitempls.org no later than 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 28. We need time to organize and test everybody's decks.
